Marble: a limited beta
On 16 September 2025 World Labs opened a limited-access beta of Marble at marble.worldlabs.ai: from an image or text it generates a 3D world that can be explored without time limits, and exports it as Gaussian splats.
Why it matters
The model went from a demo to a product that could be reached and whose output could be taken into one’s own projects. An editorial assessment: the promises of persistence and clean geometry are the company’s words, unmeasured; access stayed limited.
By the post, compared with earlier results the worlds are bigger, stylistically more varied and have cleaner geometry; export is as Gaussian splats, which the open-source library Spark plugs into Three.js for web experiences on desktops, phones and VR; several generations can be composed into larger spaces. The model is meant for environments, not for people or animals in frame. The company promises worlds “with no time limits, no morphing, no inconsistency”. What the record does not state. The post gives no user numbers, prices or measure of persistence; the feedback in it is a selection by the company, signed with initials. A trade outlet the same day restates the post and reports no test of its own.
