Diia.AI in the app: an agent that delivers services
On 14 May 2026 Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation announced that Diia.AI, until then on the portal, is now also in the Diia mobile app: in the chat the agent issues a residence extract for an adult or a child and sends a traffic-fine notice with a payment link. It runs as an open beta; the technological core is Gemini on Vertex AI.
Why it matters
A state app answers not only with information but carries out the service in a chat. An editorial assessment: everything about the agent's quality and limits is the ministry's own word; there is no outside measurement.
What the page says. Three services: an extract on the place of residence of an adult, one for a child, and payment of traffic fines; the agent had earlier been taught to issue an income certificate on the portal. The ministry says personal data does not reach the general Gemini model and is processed inside Diia's protected perimeter; the agent is in beta and 'still learning'.
