Over 100 companies in Brave1 Dataroom
On 11 June 2026 Ukraine's Ministry of Defence reported that more than 100 Ukrainian companies had gained access to Brave1 Dataroom, a secured environment where developers validate, train and fine-tune military AI models on real datasets, including visual and thermal images of aerial targets.
Why it matters
This is official evidence that the state handed developers not only orders but also closed combat data to train on. An editorial assessment: the page is a self-report and does not itself show whether the models got better.
The platform was created within the Brave1 cluster with the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Armed Forces, the Military Intelligence Research Institute and the American company Palantir Technologies. The page names the direction of the work: automatic detection and interception of enemy drones, including Shahed-type strike drones, in different weather, at different times of day and with different sensors. What the record does not claim. The page gives no launch date for the Dataroom: 11 June is the day of the statement. The figure 'over 100' is the ministry's own; there is no independent count. The claim that a technology from one Brave1 participant automates 95 per cent of interception is presented as known from an earlier ministry release and was not checked here. Neither was the claim that Ukraine was the first in the world to open such a possibility: those are the ministry's words. The page also mentions Avengers Labs, a platform for foreign companies, which has a record of its own.
