The sequence of record holders: Google Papillion at 237 megawatts on 3 August 2024; Colossus 1 at 278 megawatts on 17 February 2025; the Anthropic and Amazon site at New Carlisle at 398 megawatts on 23 June 2025, 626 megawatts on 23 December 2025 and 910 megawatts on 23 March 2026; and xAI's Colossus 2 at 946 megawatts on 15 June 2026, which the text gives as an estimated 950. The record changed hands three times in two years. The figures are Epoch's estimates from regulatory filings and press reporting, not operator disclosures.
