The star before the title, and one word for the axis

The star

In an opened record card, the star that puts a record aside stood at the end of the line with the date, type and topic. That is the card’s tightest line: on a phone it wraps, and the star was left alone on a line of its own. Another chat moved it to where it means something, in front of the record’s title, since the record is what gets put aside.

It placed the star inside the h2 heading, and the commit was left unpushed when that chat stopped. When the 6-in-1 asked for the work to be taken to production, a run of the axis tests showed the flaw. The heading’s text had become “★Title”, and a screen reader announced the button’s label before the record’s name. The test that puts a record aside and looks for its title in the list failed on exactly that.

Now the star and the heading share a row. The star leads the title, as intended, but the heading holds only the title. The title’s first line is centred on the 44px star at every font size, and on a phone a long title wraps beside the star rather than under it.

The word

The Ukrainian interface named the axis in several ways. Five strings said «часова лінія»: the page title and the label over the axis, the “back to” link on a record page, the date-basis label, the 404 page and its link. The showcase section was called «Приклад записів на таймлайні». Meanwhile the about page, the tour and the axis’s own notes said «вісь». Now it is «часова вісь» everywhere. The same change reached the README and two entries of this log that used the old words; the entry about the stills also changes its quotation of the section’s name, since the section is now called something else.

Nothing changed in English, which already had one word, timeline.

Checks

All 101 axis tests passed in Chromium with the corrected heading. The PWA tests open the card and read its heading too, so they were run separately.
