March: a March page for an October statement

Where this pass came from

March had eight records: manufacturer pages, one Supreme Court refusal, money and a White House request. The brief followed scheme 1b: the outside report gave names and addresses, and the session read every date and figure itself.

What entered

Four records, two from the report and two from the session’s own search.

Ukraine, 11 March. The State Service of Special Communications published voluntary recommendations on the cyber protection of systems that use AI: five threat groups and the measures against them. The order itself (23 February, no. 154) could not be opened; the record stands on the Cabinet’s portal and says so.

HEPI, 12 March. The third yearly student survey, a December poll of 1,054 undergraduates: 95% use AI in some way, and 12% put AI-generated text directly into assessed work, up from 3% two years earlier. The report page and the report disagree on one percentage; the report was used.

The EU, 13 and 26 March. The Council’s mandate and the Parliament’s position on simplifying the AI Act, both with the same fixed dates for high-risk systems, 2 December 2027 and 2 August 2028. The report found no law for March; these two came from a search, and the atlas held only the final regulation.

The main finding: a launch that was not in March

The report’s Future of Life entry has 27 March 2026 in its page metadata and in its first archive capture. But the statement it announces was already on its own website on 22 October 2025, with 851 signatures. The March page republishes the release. The brief itself had the wrong date, so nothing entered; the October statement is still missing from the atlas.

What did not enter

Sixteen more candidates: a live Epoch page with no dated measurement, an FDA page dated in July, and fourteen March preprints with no independent reproduction or review.
